Default No Boost Pressure

Hey everyone have a problem here I hope someone could help me on. I have a 1995 Pontiac Bonneville SSEI with the supercharged motor. The problem is that I have - 10 psi boost pressure on the gauge. The car runs good but does not accelerate very good if at all. The gauge moves when you bring the rpms up but does not come out of the negative side. I was told it might possibly be the boost control solenoid? Thanks

boost control solenoid = BCS (higher possibility)

boost control acuator = BCA

could be either of those

Tested the BCA and it is faulty. I'll replace the solenoid also, are these expensive to replace? Thanks for the info.

The BCS is not very expensive. The BCA is! I'd suggest checking the local junkyards for one, or sending a PM to Ed Morad (GTPMorad) for a replacement.

Specify a series I BCA. Ed is more likely to have a Series II.

The BCA is indeed expensive. Over $300 from GM.

Or $40 from Magnuson
