Default What type of supercharger

Which supercharger comes with a 95 SSEI, is it the L67 Series 1 or 2, or the M62, or the M90 etc.

Thanks for your help

You have a Series I. A 94/95 specific M62 Eaton.

You have a Gen3 M62. Gen 2 was used in 91-93.

Read http://www.williamwren.com/superchargers for a better description.

Default Supercharger Coupler

Hoping to get some info, I just picked up a 95 SSEi with 237,000 klm which is about 148,000 miles and was told by the previous owner that it needs a supercharger coupler. It makes quite loud rattle at idle so I may be inclined to agree. My question is, based on the fact that I don't know any history on this car, is there anything else that I should replace while I have the SC off? I will be getting my parts from ZZ performance, since they alot of you highly recommend them.

P.*. I've made up a list of other items that are in need of repair, so this is one of many posts that you will be seeing. I hope you don't get tired of them all.

Hope you all had a great weekend

Make sure it'* not a harmonic balancer instead. Use the procedure on the website I linked to to diagnose the coupler and bearings.

I'll be finishing up the nosedrive rebuild section tomorrow hopefully. And more on troubleshooting the BCA/BCS.

You may want to consider the lower intake gaskets while you have the supercharger off. They are 11 years old at this point and could be in need w/o showing it outwardly.
