Default Headlight Replacement

I know a lot of you guys have already done this. I've searched and couldn't come up with a procedure. The manual tells me to remove the two 10mm bolts, but that does nothing. how do I pull the entire housing out to replace the bulbs?

Remove the 2 bolts that hold the headlight assembly to the frame, then pull out toward you and away from the fender at the same time...all that holds it in there is a plastic tab...well, it'* kinda hard to explain. I've found that removing the corner lamps (one screw and a plastic tab) makes it a lot easier to see what'* going on in there!

IDK if this will help, but you can kind of see the brace that holds the HL assembly in place...

When you remove the two bolts mentioned. The entire assembly must slide 1" toward the fender. The frame has a nipple that slides into a hole behind the turn signal.

Being careful of your corner light as many times the rubber around it holds the fender a bit if the light hasn't been off much.
