Default Werid door locks

The other morning I go outside to let my car warm up before work. Go to open the drivers door ( wireless remote has been dead ) & the door lock is frozen. Go to the passengers side, the key turns part way and stops. I play with the key in the door alittle and then the power locks go off and unlock everything. Is this some kind of feature I was unaware of?

On the 2000+ Bonnevilles if you place key in lock, then turn to unlock position & hold for like 2-3 seconds, it will unlock all doors. The 96-99'* could be similar.

With my car when you unlock a front door with the key, all the doors unlock instantly. My car is supposed to have the keyless entry.

More than likly Justin.
listen for the click by your glove box- if you hear the click it works.
my key fob came off a 94 GA- and works perfectly..I still remember the happy dance when it did work. The button layout is exactly the same as **** supposed to be for our gen, but it looks slightly different.
I still have to post some of my LED pics!
in time....
