Default gas guage

my gas gauge is wild. when i accelerate it will go up, and when i brake it goes back down. when im going at a steady pace it usually sits normal. why?

many of us have this problem.....its very common. the gas gague reads exactly as the level in the tank....so as the gas sloshes in the tank the gauge reads it directly.....

in the later years GM has a delay built in so there is much less movement in the gauge

Even having a newer (lag time) gauge.. I see fuel slosh to a certain degree. I'm betting Rogue does too...lol
