turn signals working only on left side of vehicle.

I've checked the fuses and all light bulbs are good. The hazard switch works on both sides. What is the problem? Someone told me it's the turn signal switch which is kind of a pain to change right?

Which vehicle are you talking about? It may be the turn signal switch, but I'd suggest some further diagnostics before starting to take apart your column.

Check the turn signal relay, can you hear it 'ticking'?

It's the 97 Buick first of all. Yes you can hear it click on the left side but not when making a right turn. Nothing lights up on the dash for the right side either.

anybody have an ideas and also where is the turn signal relay at?

egladman Jan 29, 2008 09:15 PM

doesn't someone have a book for the 97 PA's? I'd really like to start working on this thing and I don't wanna buy a manual if I don't have to. Where are the relays at and how difficult will it be to drop out a turn signal switch in a Buick?
