https://www.gmforum.com/t278901/

I was reading that on some cars when jumpering the plug you need a FUSED wire... is that so with the 94s & 95s? i only ask because the step where it locks/unlocks the doors to let you kno its ready... never happened and i know its got the transmitter... at least its suppose to according to the vin

The fused wire is just to prevent a dead short. It shouldn't effect the programing. Can you tell if you have a wire going to ports 1 and 4? Also, make sure you got the right ports. They are small and it'* a bit cramped.

That'* what it looks like. Go to tech info and look in specs and look at OBD1 pin out. That should be your setup.

I had the same problem the first time I reprogrammed a remote for my 95 SSE.
There ended up being no problem but me.
I'm like why is there no pin in #1 but then I realized I was looking at the pin out up side down.

Take another look...lol

Not saying thats your problem but hey no one ever said we're perfect.
