The fog lights are out on my '04 Bonneville SE. Additionally, the "power on" indicator lamp in the Fog Light dashboard switch does not illuminate.

I replaced the bulbs with new Sylvania #880 halogens, and despite appearances that the 15A fuse was good, I replaced that also.

I know there are two TSBs referencing fog lights on the '04 Bonneville SE. Specifically:

Does anyone know the details with either of these TSBs? I bought the vehicle used, and the fog lamps have never worked in the 2 months I've owned the vehicle.

I do not know if the prior owner (it was a company fleet vehicle, before I owned it) may have already had such TSBs addressed. Since the vehicle is no longer under warranty, I don't know if a GM dealer will want to handle any fix work without charging me something, and I think the more I understand the specifics of the TSBs, the better the position I'm in, to hash that out with a dealer.

For example, is the first TSB a wiring harness problem? Is it a switch problem? (Please don't confuse this with the TSB specific to GXP wiring harness - I've seen that, but I dont own a GXP, and that TSB bears a different number). How about the second TSB - what'* the deal with the bulbs? Is the #880 not the correct bulb? Every reference I've seen says it is.

I would appreciate any specifics anyone might be able to provide. After reading through a good number of threads in these boards, I've really come to appreciate how much you all know the Bonnies inside and out!
