just got this car 92 ssei and i pulled the code myself by terminals "a"- "b" and a paper clip and came up with 18, 41, 58 any ideas/help? i looked up the codes. are they soft codes or hard codes can they be reset by disconnecting the battery? to see if they pop up again or something i need to look into futher? car runs!

58 - Don't worry about it. It's a bug in our '92 PCMs, and won't bother anything.

18 - Cam/Crank Error
41 - Cam Sensor Circuit

It sounds like a failing cam sensor. It could also be a missing magnet on the timing sprocket.

so i should be looking into timing chain and sprokets? any good after market? could code 18 and 41 be linked? any way to test the sensors

got her fixed just replaced cam sensor and reset the codes. thanks for your help Bonneville92V688.
