Default FOG LAMPS quit working...

...just like that.
I'm wondering if the fuse blew out, and checked the manual, which says the 'dealer' should change the fuse. Supposedly the location is 'difficult'.

Anybody ever change this difficult to reach fuse and do you think that is what caused mine to stop working?

If you need to go to a dealer to get a fuse checked.. you really shouldn't be driving a car. If you take the fuse panel off, check those fuses, the other place they could be located, is under the glove box. You can drop the glove box, by two rubber clips on the sides, then, you will see the other fuse box. Check them suckers...

ok they are above the passenger footwell. remove the hush panel and then there should be a sticker on the hush panel that indicates what fuses are what. It is easy to get to

going to the dealer for a fuse

Yeah, it'* a Goddamn good thing I drive computer controlled BUSES for living, 'cuz I sure as hell couldn't figure THAT out by not reading the MANUAL first...
BTW, the new Coach I just qualified on is another dual-mode, this time by GM and it'* a 'hybrid'. It has the Diesel mode and 'HUSH' mode.
Did YOU read YOUR manual before you started digging around under the dashboard and 'hush' panel? I did.
Geez, you guys, take it easy, willya? :P

OK, rant off, now down to business.
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
I had already marked the location of the spare fuses in the manual section covering the fuseboxes --- before I came here for my abuse --- just to make sure!

Fusebox = piece of cake. Good fuses.
:?: OH...what if the LIGHT BULB is dead?
:P GE 880 = $6.99 at ActionAuto x 2 --- ( note to self ) keep the good one for spare.

Sylvania SilverStar 880ST = $24.99 x 2 --- ( note to self ) don't tell Wife when you sneak those into the budget.

ONE fried bulb. ONE slightly used and frazzled bulb. Replaced both.
NOW, where do I find AMBER FOG bulbs?

In the OLDEN DAYS from whence I come, the sealed beam foglamps had an amber lens, more like an orange than yellow, although both were available.
I'd like to find some amber BULBS for the SSE.

Also, even the SilverStars are rated at 27W. I'm wondering if any of you have used more wattage without excessive heat buildup that might cause damage to the system or housing.
Thanks for the entertaining thread and answers, fellow BonneVillians.

yes there is a 50w replacement for the fog light, 895 I believe

it is just better to replace the stock foggers and put aftermarket driving lenses
