Unhappy Car won't start.

So this is the run down. For awhile now i have been having trouble with the power in my car. at first it was the windows, lock, lights and fuel pump. I was told to clean the ground bust on the driver side. it worked but it was getting hot at the connection so i ran a thicker wire for the ground. that solved it for about half a year. then towards the start of winter I'd go to start my car and it would be dead. so i went threw everything and checked it. all fuses are good, both ground busts clean. So i just shrugged it off. Now it won't start at all. the battery is still good. I turn the key, the lights dime and everything is hey wire. So what in the world is wrong with it?? At this point I'm ready to burn it. :/

It cranks. it seems like something on the driver side bust is drawing too much power. i forgot to add my power lock switches only unlock. So i pulled the relay and fuse on from under the glove box. yet the power drain still happens.

sometimes you can have mutiple issues, batteries dont like comeing back from severre discharge so that maybe degraded from something drawing to much. this is a test to find a draw but even if you find something you may still have to replace the battery. and even bad batteries measure 12v sometimes its the amp capacity that starts the car, it has to be load tested to see.

Well i disconnected the battery to stop any further drain and today it started up just fine when reconnected. So I'm thinking its a relay somewhere that staying on while hot but disconnects when cooled off. Is is possible something in the doors is having that issue?

Something is wired to continue running off the battery, any aftermarket things you wired in?

Pull and replace fuses one at a time until the draw goes away. That will help you find the problem.

Well I narrowed the drain to the automatic locks. Looks like i need to work on my doors. Thanks for the help.
