Passenger Auto Down
so today i hit up the junkyard and got the auto down module out of a 97 ssei drivers door.....so i bring it home and hook it up to my 96, and i'm having some problems......
i cut the wires going to the motor and spliced them together w/ the same color wires going into the module, and then hooked up the module to the motor....now i found the hot 12V wire by using a meter, and that wire was also the color brown, and my 12V wire on the module was gray, so i tapped into the hot 12V with the gray wire, and all that happens is when i turn the car on, the window automatically goes all the way down without me touching the switch....once it is all the way down, it will not go back up.....which wire did i connect wrong?
if you need pics i will go take them

Ok..
Go back to the wrecker.. Get a wiring harness from the module that still has the window connector on it.
You'll end up with 3 wires to connect. Blue goes to the blue that used to go to the motor.. You'll probably have gray and brown left. Gray goes to the other wire that used to go to the motor and brown should be power.
Keep in mind..that'* off the top of my head and an FSM should be consulted as to the cavity and wire colors.
