Default clickity click.. there goes the rear ??

OK.. I"m having an issue.. and I think it might be a loose connector but don't want to tear my dash out if I don't have to ( Tamara is already complaining I spend too much time with my car and not with her and her horse hee hee ).

Situation is when all lights are on at night I hear this clicking sound intermittently and sometimes it sounds like it'* going mental When I apply the brakes I hear it click once and thats it.. I think it has to do with what Bill mentioned from a previous post that it might be safety brake parking mechanism?? ( If so.. where is the located? )

During the day with just daytime on.. it'* fine..no clickin sound even when I step on the brakes.. just only when all the lights are on.

Do you need any schematics I could some up if you do?
Sounds like it could be a weak relay but which one? You could start with the headlights but maybe the stop relay is suspect?

Well I think it'* the rear.. cause the fronts are always fine.. I can flip them on off.. hi beam low beam all day and nothing.. it'* only when the marker lights are on and goes away when I step on the brakes I hear a click.. but when I release it goes nuts sometimes..

Yes PontiacDAD that would be greatly appreciated if you have some schematics on where the relay maybe for the rear.. the strange part is everytime it does it to the point it drives me nuts.. I pull over to a gas station.. and can still hear it.. but as soon as I put the car in neutral or park.. it decides not to do it.. I wanted to jump out and see if the rear lights are flickering.. but never could..

P.*. Are they standard relays you can get from Radio Shack?? ( If so it probably would be cheaper then OEM'* as I"m also thinkin of pickin one ( relay ) up to re-wire my front headlights so when the hi'* come on.. the lows would stay on too.. but that would be a project that will be in the backburner till I get everything else sorted out ( i.e. EMISSION )
