Default Odd problem..very odd

Hey guys here'* a good one....My 95 Bonnie 3.8 just up and dies at a relatives house when I pull in. The Alternator made a whirring grinding noise. So I assume the Alternator is going bad. I buy one and replace it and nothing. Turn'* over but no running. Then I checked the fuel pressure and there was some to begin with. Then I checked again after attempting to get it to crank. Nothing. No pressure whatsoever. Noticed fuel pump couldn't be heard when key turned on. So I replaced the pump and no luck on this. The oddest thing I noticed is when I would try to roll down my windows the interior light * would go out for about 15 sec'* and come back on. Could this be a ground problem or is the ECM shot? Everything is get supplied with power, but acts as if though the comp isn't telling each particular system what to do. Your help will be greatly appreciated.

P.*. Another possibility I thought is a possible faulty IGN switch..I don't have a OBD 1.5 scanner..so I couldn't "code" the ECM.

The PCM has nothing to do with windows. That makes me lean more towards the ignition switch because you need to be keyed on for them to work. Maybe grounds, difficult to tell from my side.

..starting to get irritated....it'* driving me insane!!! I have replaced the fuel pump, alternator, and comp and still no luck. The fuel pump isn't pumping adequate pressure to the fuel rail..and when the relay for the fuel pump comes on the light on the rear defogger lights for the amount of time the fuel pump relay engages. This is what is flipping me out..any suggections? plz help!

Check the battery terminals for corrosion... Both of them then check the ground wire where it connects under the ignition module. Your whole problem could be corrosion. Let us know what you find out.

Well the problem was solved...It was a ground but in a odd spot. The ground was located under the carpeting on the driver'* side near the hood release. It looks like a credit card wrapped in electrical tape but is a ground junction. The main ground wire had came loose and was causing the problem. Man what a relief! Found it myself so i saved the shop bill. Thanks for all of your input in this situation.
