Hey guys I have a 01 Se and today I was goign to a few stores and all. I was using my blinkers the whole when but when I came home, the blinkers stopped working, even the panics ( inside dash doesn' light up) and then no high beams work, 1 light is out, and 1 blicker bulb is out ( you know how they stay on )

What can theis be?

Have you checked all applicable fuses?

How would I be able to tell if the fuses are bad? I know with the little ones you can see through it and be able to tell these are big blocks...Also what one is the blinkers? I have no idea on which one it is and I don't have a manual...

It could be the flasher, but there is more widespread involvment here which makes me wonder if there isn't another problem (assuming these all failed at the same time).

Do you have a 12V test lamp or multimeter? The fuse descriptions should be on the inside lid of the fuse blocks (underhood and under the rear seat). When you say no manual, do you mean service manual or owner'* manual.

Also, can you list specifically which lights do not work. The headlight fuses are in the underhood fuse block and each one has a seperate fuse (four in total). When you say refer to the lights in the dash, do you mean the signal indicators or the dash backlighting. Giving as many very specific details as possible will help if I end up needing to examine schematics

Witm the Manual part I meant to say the owners manual..The lights that aren't working ( and yes they all happend within 10mins top ) Driver side light, ALL highbeams...
The blinker lights work, just when I use them to use the turn signal they don't..

When I said the dash lights I meant to say when I turn the blinkers on, even on the dash the green arrow doesn't go on and off, no does it due it when you try to turn on the panic lights.

I have a vlot meter would that work?

Also I couldn't figure wich one was the blinker can someone be able to tell me?

The signal light flasher is self-contained as part of the switch that activates it. I'll have to look in the manual to let you know which fused circuit it belongs to.

A volt meter will work. Sometimes looking at the side of a fuse won't reveal if it'* good. Checking it with a light or meter is always preferable.

Set your meter to measure DC volts, ideally about a 20 volt range. Make sure you measure voltage from a ground to the wire under the red cover on the side of the underhood fuse block to ensure your meter is working and set-up correctly.

Leave the black probe attached to ground. There will be a small exposed metal area on the top at each end of all the fuses. Touch the positive lead to both exposed areas on the top of each fuse. If you have voltage on one end, but not the other, the fuse will be bad. With good fuses, you will have power on each side. The exception to this is limited to a few circuits. There may be some where power isn't present at either end. This MAY be a normal condition. If fuses which exhibit this are part of an affected circuit, further investigation may be necessary.

Complete this diagnostic and report back with any failures.

Should I test this while in the fuse box or with the fuse out?

All fuses need to be left IN the fuse block for this test. You should perform the same procedure for the fuse block under the rear seat. The seat cushion can be removed by lifting the forward edges sharply that contact the floor carpeting.
