Hmmmmm, well I never had Electric Mirrors in a GM car but my other cars have a switch that controlled the left and right electric mirrors. Is there a R/L position switch in these H-bodies? If so is the switch positioned for the Left/Drivers Mirror?? :?: : This answer oughta "shock" some of the electricians here to punch in.

There'* most likely a break somewhere in the connection between the mirror and the switch. You'll need to test the circuit. I guess it could be the mirror motor but I would bet againt it. I defer to the Boost Man on this one.

I'd start by checking the switch. There may be a break either in the switch or the connection going to the wiring for the driver'* side.
