You will find that Very Few if ANYone on this site approves of Bosch. Keep it simple. Go Delco if you want good long term reliability

Yep, AC-Delco is the way to go with the O2 sensors. Few others work. Some however have also been reporting that the Denso sensors work well.

Anyone tried Denso? I see them listed on Intense'* site - $20 cheaper than Delco.

Now I'm not recommending anything yet...but I have had my Bosch Oxygen sensor in for 30,000 miles so far with a perfect air/fuel mix, but thats still only 30k out of 50k, otherwise i might just have a good one My next one will definitely be an AC Delco but my point is that if you absolutely do not have the money, get one, but don't expect it to last the full 50k miles

I'd be curious to see how you determined that you have a perfect air/fuel mix. Considering sometimes a Bosch (or any other O2 sensor) can deliver incorrect information as part of the failure (that in fact, is the mode of failure).

My Bosch O2 sensor, like several others here (4 years ago) failed in under 30 days, but even when new, never fully restored my fuel mileage like the AC Delco sensor did.

I place O2 sensors in the same catagory that I place oil, plugs, wires, and brake parts. That catagory is "critical mechanicals" and I try not to ever scrimp on them.

With a scan tool bill, with a SCAN TOOL! I would never make such an assumption unless I knew for sure. Correct Air/Fuel mix on an OBD-1 Scantool would be it alternating constantly beween Rich/Lean, it does that, whether idling or under full throttle. So yeah, it is still working for me JUST fine. But if you're saying that it showing a normal status is a bad thing...then how on earth would I know? But like I said...we'll see if it lasts up to 50k. I maybe replacing it even sooner than that if I start seeing my gas mileage drop. But being that I might not know when it does go bad, I might be replacing it sooner than I think.
