Comfort Turn Signal Module installation HELP needed
Hi there,
i got a waeco mt2000 Comfort Turn Signal Module.
This one let light up the turn signals for a additional 2-3 times after the turn signal switch was hit for a short time.
this is here in germany in all new cars standard equipment know to be law confirm because it'* law in germany to flash at least 2 times if you change the lane aso....
however, i want to istall this box into my Bonneville BUT there is a big problem.
the both rear turn signal lamps (wire colors: yellow and dark green) are bricked in the Turn Signal switch as long as the switch is in the off position.
so if i give +12V on one of the wires both rear turn signals light up.
on the front everything would work fine, but i don't know how i can bypass this problem.
I hope you guys have an idea.
Thanks for any input.

hi,
just want to let you know the solution if you were ever interested to install a such kit.
so:
you need to cut the yellow and dk green rear turn signal wires and connect them to the lt blue and dk blue ones for the front turn signals. then everything would work like it should.
you don't get a error or a message on the lamp monitor and all flashers aso work like befor.
