Keyless Remote unknown
Just bought a cheap 2003 Buick Century ($4k) from 'wholesale' car lot. It came with 1 key, many unknowns and some buyer'* remorse.
Would this car have come with a keyless remote feature? I see transmitter fobs on eBay under $25 but how do I know my car has the proper receiver and wiring to use it?
Side question - the dome light has been removed. Apparently a previous owner had the 'interior lights won't turn off' problem I've read about, and did the extreme deed. What would you suggest as a replacement?

Found programming instruction on web - to wit:
Key In - On - Off - Remove Key
Press hold 'Unlock' on driver'* door
Key In - Remove Key
Key In - Remove Key
Key In - Release Unlock button
Expect 3 beeps...but I didn't get any beeps. Does this mean car doesn't have Keyless or that programming instructions are bad?

You would have to verify by looking at the RPO sticker in the trunk. It should be on the spare tire cover. Look for AU0.
