First thing I would try since they are trying to hold is take out the fuse you currently have in there. Put a light coating of dielectric grease on it..then insert and remove it about 10 times. It is possible you have corrosion issues pulling more energy.

Also check the bulbs that are powered by that. Ensure they are the correct bulbs and not other bulbs. Other bulbs could be higher wattage and drawing more.

Do you have any leaks or wet carpet in the car, this is another possible trouble area that could contribute.

yeah i went ahead and did that with all the fuses... but i still am having no luck with the lights... i also found my back floor is soaked... i thought i fixed the problem with silicone on the door stripping to prevent anymore water... looks like i will need to take a day to put NEW stripping on, remove the seats and dry out the inside...

Good news..you found your fuse problem.

Bad news...you've got water inside the car.

Bill, I don't see where he found the fuse problem with the interior lighting. The problem apparently still exists & may be related to the water.

Please note that water on a ground bus won't pop a fuse. You need water to contact a HOT circuit.
