Odd electrical problems....{with doorlocks/windows}
So i'm thinking that something is wrong with electical stuff on the driver'* side of my car....{Front & back}.....
Powerwindows: drivers side {Font}....driver'* window..doesn't work...rear seat.....does work....passenger window....works.......rear passenger window works.{but sometimes gets stuck cuz i think it needs a new motor....makes a grinding sound when it goes up all the way and gets to the top.}....But back to the driver'* side windows....there has to be some connection being make cuz i can hear a faint "clicking" sound when i move the switches on the door...but there'* no response from the windows....thought it was just maybe the controls on the driver'* side door gone bad, but the control on the rear driver'* side door itself doesn't do anything as well.....
power door locks: basically....they're weird....sometimes they work, sometimes they don't....car didn't come with keyless entry {to my knowledge}....again, i thought it was just the switch on the driver'* side door not working, but when i lock/unlock the doors with the key, its suppose to unlock/lock all of the doors and sometimes it does....sometimes it doesn't.....it juz a pain when all of ur doors are unlocked....then u get out....notice that the power isn't working....and have to lock all of the doors manually....
misc: horn doesn't work.....even though everything seems to be connected up front in the engine....and illuminated entry {when u pull the handle the interior lights come on} doesn't work either....but if that fuse was blown, shouldn't other things stop working as well??
confused......help.....thanks.......lol

First of all, check the fuses for the things that aren't working to see if they are blown. When I got my Bonneville my problems were similar - drivers back and front window wouldn't work, power locks wouldn't work etc. It all turned out to be broken wires in the driver side door. Once they were repaired everything worked like a charm again.

One oddity is that it'* option AU0, but you may not necessarily find that on your RPO code sticker in the trunk. My '93 SSEi has Keyless Entry but not AU0 code. I'm thinking that the code might not have been listed if it was standard equipment for that model, but that'* just a guess.
On the other hand, if you _do_ find AU0 in the list of option codes, then you _do_ have Keyless Entry, and should start shopping for a transmitter on eBay.

1) Find the ALDL connector under the lower edge of your dashboard. It'* a 12-port socket, two rows of 6 ports each.
2) Jumper the upper-right socket to the lower-left socket with a paper clip or similar. Leave the clip in place. The car should cycle its locks (Lock and Unlock), and 2 seconds later the trunk will pop.
3) Press any _one_ button on the transmitter precisely once. The car should acknowledge you with the same lock-cycling routine again.
4) If programming a second remote, press any one button on that remote.
5) That'* it. Remove the jumper clip from the ALDL socket and you're done.
If this works, you can go shopping on eBay for your own transmitters. Here is a typical one:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=7965913849
(Note: I have no connection to that seller and I am not guaranteeing that that one is correct for your car, although it looks like it to me; I was just looking for a quick sample to point you at.)
The car can recognize up to two transmitters. Each one programmed after that will roll a previous one out of memory. Good luck!

i juz did it and.......it works!! {thanks}
my dad is lettin' me keep his old transmitter tho since he'* sellin' his bonnie.....
so i got the keyless entry goin, i'm not sure how useful that'* gonna be if the power to the locks goes out again.....i'll have to see how they act today.....and the windows are still out.....guess i'll have to go inside of the driver'* door....
and does anyone know what could be done about the horn? everything in the engine is connected....but as i was looking at it the other day i noticed that the middle of the steering wheel seemed kinda loose..{as if someone had taken it apart} but i'm afraid to even attempt to take it apart myself to see whats going on in there cuz there'* an airbag in there {or should be}...and as far as i can tell, no fuses are blown....i'll check again tho..

Also get yourself a manual. You will need a steering wheel puller to remove the wheel, and a lock plate compressor to remove the steering column lock plate. Both those tools are pretty cheap and will fit most all cars. Let us know what you find.
P.*. I just thought: about the first thing you do after you remove the air bag unit is disconnect the horn wire underneath. Even if you don't have a wheel puller or lock plate compressor, you might find the problem as soon as you remove the air bag. It would be worth a peek; maybe you'll get lucky and find that some doofus forgot to reconnect a horn lead, and it'* just rattling around inside the steering wheel hub, occasionally grounding itself on a metal part someplace.

If someone who didn't know what they were doing has taken your steering column apart and put it back together wrong, that could easily explain accidental horn honks.
btw.....juz checked all the fuses and they're fine...my dad thinks that the car prolly has been sitting for a while and the connections are bad....i'll have to play with it later...
...for now...i need new wiper blades!!

If the horn itself was bad, you would still hear the relay clicking when you pressed on the wheel. The relay click is not hard to hear; if you're pushing on the wheel and hearing nothing but silence, the problem is in the wheel.
(Actually you have either two horns or four in your car, so unless every single one of them has gone bad at the same time, you oughtta hear _something_.)
Pull the airbag module for a look-see; I really think you're going to find the problem pretty quick.
