Default Tail-lamp question

You know how are rear tail-lamps are the double filiment bulbs (run the parking and brake light) right? Well here'* my issue...

It seems as though on a regular basis I am having to replace them due to either part of the parking lamp being out, but the brake light works, or part of the brake light is out but the parking lamp works.

Is there any bulb I can put in there to stop this problem? It'* getting rediculous. It seems like I'm changing a bulb once a month......

Any indication of moisture getting into the assembly? Any corrosion in the sockets? I've used the Sylvania Long Life Bulbs, and they've been good for about 4-5 years now.

be sure to clean the sockets and put some bulb grease in there. that should help...and yeah, some long lifes, i replaced all of my rear bulbs last year with them, they're great.

I did all the cleaning and whatnot, no moisture in there either. Maybe I'll just change bulbs

Les...another thing to consider is the bulbs will burn hotter if they have poor grounding etc. You may want to lift you back seat and check the connections to the battery and the main ground to the chassis. Archon has written up a fix for the poor chassis ground as he found them to be a little below par.
