Default Modding the onstar buttons?

Sorta brainstorming here.

Siince onstar sucks I was thinking of cutting the wires and doing things like painting the buttons and assigning new functions such as:

High Speed Cooling Fan over-ride (manual turn on)
Fog light over ride (manual turn on)

Not sure whatelse, but I'm sure I can come up with others.

any ideas what will happen if I cut the onstar wires?

i would just get a PCM to controll the Fans....unless you make a 3 relay setup, Cut the Factory wires and splice in a resistor, you will set an SES Light....
