transplanting auto dimming mirror
I have 99 SLE that with a manual rear view mirror and i was wondering if i could take the auto dimming mirror from my 94 SSE that i am getting rid of and just splice it in (I have wiring diagrams) I know i'll have to run wires but i wanted to know if someone has done this succesfully before i attempt it. Thanks in advance.

Its a 2 wire hookup, and most of us that have the standard mirror borrow the power from the sunroof wires in the passenger A pillar...
It is only 2 wires, but you need to be absolutely sure you get the right wires or you'll destroy the mirror in a hurry

What car did you pull it out of? And it sounds more like you need to know the pinout of the connector to be able to determine what the wires are for... If you make a mistake with this mirror wiring it will get fried in a hurry.. Don't ask me how I know that
