Default Radio wont turn off

Its the stock radio, I have not messed with it at all. I unlocked my car to move it to the other side and when I opened the door my radio was already on and playing, after moving the car I turned off the car, pulled the key and opened the door but it wont shut off. Even after closing the door and locking it the radio remains on, whats wrong with my car now?

Does the keyless work fine?
Keyless still works good

Next time you turn the car off, and the radio is still on, open the passenger door and see if it shuts off..
Just tried it and the radio is still on. I tried pulling the fuse earlier as well and the radio stayed on so I think someone crossed wires at some point

I don't have a Pic of where the RAC Module is... But there will be a small black Box buried under the passenger side kick.hush panel... There will be a white connector with 8-10 wires, do not confuse this with the silver box on the fire wall( PCM )...

When you disconnect the RAC( white connector ) you will loose Iluminated entry and keyless function iirc but see if the Radio and the like stay off... If this is the case the RAC may have failed..
I can turn the radio off by pushing the button but the clock stays on and even with the car off and doors open blah blah I can still push the button again and play the radio or a cd.

If it is the module about how much am I looking at to fix it? Will it still need to be fixed/replaced when I put an aftermarket cd player in?

The module either has the 3rd connector for the security inputs/outputs or if you don't have security than you do not have the 3rd connector.... Depends on which one you have...

You should be able to get one from a JY.... If not I have a RAC Module that has the Security portion..

Would the RAC have anything to do with the car not starting now? I unplugged the battery last nite so it wouldnt get drained. I plugged it bak in this morning and the radio turned off and on good, but now the car wont start and I cant even get to the digital readout on the dash, the key turns all the way and all I get are those few dings. Anything to do with the RAC or do I need to ask in another forum?

Try cleaning the battery cables. Remove the bolts & rubber boots so you can get to the corrosion. Clean the cable ends with sandpaper or wire brush. Apply dielectric grease & reassemble. Let us know if that cures the starting problem.
