Default Question

Well, for some time now, since i bought the car. The little LEDs that let me know if the car is in performance shift or normal shift haven't been working. Is it the LEDs? It is hard to tell if there is any differance between pushing the two buttons. How, do i take this panel off to either change the LEDs or take a look to see if everything is working?

There'* a topic here already regarding this. A member successfully repaired his own. You'll have to dig.

a test to see if the buttons are working is: go out and give the car a WOT run in each mode, the normal mode should shift the car at a lower RPM

Well, I went out and did some WOT'* to tell if they shift at different RPM'*. The performance shifts at a little higher of an RPM than the normal mode. So, I guess that the light that is behind the button that tells what mode it is in (not the red light that lights up the name) is out. So, how do i go about changing this and what is the number of the bulb i have to replace?

Like every back light for our cars.. a 192 bulb. Unless.. this isn't the backlighting, but something else, it'* probably just a generic LED. If it'* the LED that is burned out, you will need to do some soldering.. most likely. I don't have this performance **** whatnot.. so I can't help much more.

Alright, how do I get that whole thing off of there with the performance shift and normal shift buttons on it? I want to look at the wiring on there, and that is also where I want to put my switch for my angel eyes.
