Hey guys I just bought a 93 bonnie SSE as you can tell by my screen name, well I just put in my touch screen head unit and I have been having some weird electrical problems, like the head lights will only come on if I put on the high beams, the trunk pops open randomly while driving, I have a feeling maybe I wired something wrong on the adapter, but I wanted to see what you guys thought? Also I know its probably on here somewhere but whats the difference between the SSE and the SSEI was the SSEI stock intercooled?

i would pull the HU and double check the wiring.....your problems are really weird

and for the SSE and SSEI....the SSEi was a package that was added to the SSE...
in the years of 92-93 the SSE could be optioned exactly like the SSEi including the SC but was still called an SSE....yes its confusing

I agree, at least disconnection the wiring harnesses from the units if they unplug easily. Then test the lights etc again.

The basics of the SSE vs SSEi is a supercharger (typically).

haha ya definatly man feel ackward right now...car needs to get some more work...just replaced the master cyclinder...I found out the electrical was a wrong wiring done by me on the harness adapter...and the whole trunk ordeal was because my trunk release was stuck...man I feel dumb...but I dont know if you guys can help me out...but my power locks dont work...but the seats work fine and the fuses are obviously fine...any ideas? I did read some other problems people were having but I dont think it can be a short or a fuse seeing the seats work which I was told is on the same fuse
