Default Windows not working

Have a 2000 with front window issues. When I move the switch I can hear a ckicking in the respective door but the windows do not move. So it seems like the switch is working. Wouldn't think both motors would go bad at the same time.

Does the passenger side window move from the passenger side switch? It is possible both motors died. That happened to my wifes van.

The passenger window will work from the pass control. The front windows will not work from the Drivers control. But the rear windows will work.

If the driver side switch will NOT make the passenger window go down, but the passenger side will... its the switch, if neither work its the motor or regulator, possibly a connection or wire,

Pull the plugs and clean them. Test the switch to make sure it works. Should be able to do that with a multimeter.

When I move the switch I can hear clicking inside the doors. That seems to tell me that the power is getting to a relay or the motor.

Still check the connections. They might be a little dirty.

Having a hard time getting the door panel off. I can get the switch and door handle sections out but not the whole panel.

Finally got the door panel off the door. I pulled the motor off and it seemed like it was under tension. I was able to run the motor forward and backward with out it being bolted to the window assembly. Puy it back on and everything works great. Seems like it was just bound up for some reason. Has this happened to anyone else?
