Default Goofy Dome Lights

I've put about 10k mi on my car in my ownership, and the whole time it does this really funky thing with the dome lights. You can just be sitting there in the car after you shut it off, or simply open the door, and the dome lights flicker on, then flicker off, a few times in a row. It does it so intermittently. I was thinking about checking the door switches, but I really doubt that'* it. I THINK, that after I hit the lock button on the keypad, the horn chirps, and the lights stay off. Normal? Only thing I can think of that may be related is the fact that if I hit the lock button on the door after I shut the car off and get out, I get three chimes and no lock. So, if I MUST use the door button, I just hit it twice in a row.

If you use the door button and you get three chirps, it locks like 30 seconds later. Maybe you knew that feature and its not working, just throwing it out there incase you didnt know
