Horn relay location ? ? ?
Ok,
I have both the Haynes, and the Chilton manuals.
Neither list the solution to this question.
I then searched this topic here, and in the 92-99 forum and came up with one
{non-relevant} hit, and even its pic was a dead link. (Sigh)
Car failed State Safety inspection, for having a "non audible horn@ 200 feet"
I have 30 days to repair and have it reinspected.
fuse is good. no corrosion at horns, etc.
I suspect an "open" in coil circuit... can test by substitution,
or with VOM. [volt/ohm meter]
I found the relay diagram, on page 6-56 of the Chilton,
but it gives no location.
However, it is a SPST [single pole - single throw] relay
and wire colors are :
Anyone have a photo, of which relay, in what bank, [engine bay, or Under dash)
for my application?
It would make things a whole lot easier for this old man,
than trying to contort my body on my back, and upside down,
trying to find wire colors... and stick a meter on them.
TIA !
A picture is worth a thousand words.... (ten thousand if it'* a female ...)

The horns ground through the mounting bolt. I'd suspect a poor ground before a relay but here'* your pic:
PS. Haynes manuals suck. See if you can't score a factory service manual on Ebay or here for about $40. That would be a pretty good price.

Yep! They sure do!! I'll never buy another Haynes! Had one for my Jags,
when I was a noob there years ago. forgot about how bad they sucked,
cause I soon got their factory CD, for $35.
Have been looking for a factory manual now for the past two weeks.
I'm Willing to go for the $40...
I've seen them, on eBay, but for outrageous prices... $90, and above.
Don't want to go that high for a book, just yet...
I had the steeringl column apart last weekend, to replace the
wiper switch/mounting mechanism..... for the Multi Purpose lever.
Yes I too, would suspect a poor gnd, before a relay...... But...
!!!!! I know I replaced, ......the horn wire with the spring load in the little socket... !!!
Not looking forward to pulling the PITA air bag again. May have to though,
if it isn't a bad gnd, or the relay.....I Just want to eliminate all the easier areas first.
I don't know if it worked before i pulled the wheel or not. Just got the car, and never use the horn anyway.

Shop manual
93 Bonneville shop manual is $105 from helminc.com.
That'* why the ebay price is $90 (wished for). For $90 I should start listing some of my old shop manuals.

Holy Hannah!
What are they printed on? Parchment made from lumber of Noah'* Ark?
Do they use platinum based ink?
Are they bound in gold thread?
This Inquiring mind wants to know....
Yeah....... supply and demand... Ha!
Well then, I demand they supply more than enough, and cheaper too

Also picked up 2 din radio/cass/CD player, from an Olds...
Will be cuttin the surround, and modding to fit...
Next week, begins my vacation, and I'll be hitting the auto recyclers in the area,
(there'* about 10 of them near by, 5 within seven miles...)
hopefully, I'll find a useable woodgrain surround..w/o HUD...or gain control.
