flickering display....???
 
i have an issue with my info center..."the littel car" on my dash...lol it tends to flicker on and off...and sometimes works and sometimes does not. any ideas?

i think the screen is just shot...but you tell me...

try cleaning the connections on the back of the cluster: http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...hlight=cluster

or the connections at the ground buss terminal: http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...ghlight=ground

That's the starting info. We've seen some that had cluster problems that led to the swapping of the cluster.

i cleaned the connection behind the gages them selfs...it still flickers a bit so i guess now i will check the connections under the doors.

i still have some flickering even after we cleaned behind the cluster and the grounds near the doors

I had this issue in my old 94 (that my brother now owns) and we found that if you wiggle the compass button that changes the zone, it will come back on. Im not sure how its all connected back there, but it seems that the switch effects the DIC somehow. Take a look there and see if that helps.
