Default Converting 94 Le Bonneville Seats need help

i want to change my seats they are the standered cloth seats.. driver is power passanger is not.

i have a 93 bonneville parts car that SSEi. i want to take the 12 way power seats out of that car and put them into the 94. i really dont want to change the whole wiring harrenest.

the 93 has 7 main wires that go to the seats off of the driver side harrenest.
2 black bigger gage wire, 3 orange with white strips bigger gage wire, and 2 smaller gage wires. one oragne and one grey.

the 94 has just the red and black plug in to the seat. under that there is a relay with 7 wires. i cant remeber the colors but they are all different. also the wiring harrenest runs all the way across the drive side to the passagner side connected to both main'* not a dead end like the the 93.

if any body could tell me what wires i can splice into on the 94 and connect the 7 wires from the 93 i would be threlled and also what about the relay i know its for the stock seat.. but what am i to do with it after i connect the 93'* wires for the 12 way power seats?
thanks in advance.

Basically you pull the seat harness, I think you end up connecting 2-3 wires from the new harness to the old. 1993 SLE and VigCs have both converted.

Hang in for them to chime in.

pretty simple really....

you take the seat harness out of the parts car, now i recommend you pull up the carpet and get as much of you can, out of the car

you have to make a connection from the factory harness, which is orange and black, and then connect that to the SSEi Harness

this will give you power for the seats both right and left,

after you have power in the harness you then plug all the connections in to the seats and the switch console

you will end up tapping in a grey wire for the dimmer controlls for the switch pod

let us know how this goes

ok well i just cut out the parts car harness for the seats.
and i cut off the power connecter that was going to my old seat.
i figured that i would cut it off and tie the harness to the new seats into so i wouldnt have to cut into the other harness.

still dont know if i should take that relay out or just leave it in and try to see if the seats work with it still there.

"you will end up tapping in a grey wire for the dimmer controlls for the switch pod"
ok so the small orange wire that goes with the grey one just tie that into the main power wires too right? and that grey wire what could i hook that into? will it still light up without that grey wire connected to anything?

its under the seat/carpet for the old seat.

the switch on the old seat looked like this ---- ( o ) ----

but the only wires that came up from the carpet was a black and orange on same plug and lead inside of harness to that relay.

(the old seat was a 6 way i think)

that plug is what im gunna have to power the new seats from harness
