Ground Buss cleaning

Ground Buss cleaning
This is a 1992 Bonneville SE we are dealing with here.
My problem is that my door locks and keyless entry do not work. From a search on this forum, I know that the ground busses usually are to blame for these kinds of problems.
I'm just wondering where EXACTLY they are underneith the carpet (IE, more towards the seat or closer to the parking brake...). I looked today but only saw plastic tubing that contained a bunch of wires. I didn't have much time though so maybe I overlooked it. That carpet is a bitch to pull up and those little metal clips certainly don't make the job any easier. I'm just looking for a few tips on on this.
Thanks

There are a lot of threads dealing with this. Here is one.

Do a search, and you'll likely find more that will help you if the picture in that one does not.

Pull the kick panel that sits next the the e-brake. Then pull the wire bundle tube out and start pulling wires out of it. It shoud be a small plastic about 2 inches long and an inch wide. (roughly) Wrapped in electrical tape. I have pictures around here somewhere, but am not able to find them.
Hey I found em on my server. Hope this helps....

Ok I checked the ground busses and they were fine. I cleaned them anyway but it didn't fix anything. Can somebody help me out on this please?
To be more specific on the problem:
Keyless entry does not work
Interior lighting does not turn on when doors are opened
Power locks do not work
(i'm not sure if this is related) does not "chime" when electrical is engaged (ya know...the *bing* *bing* *bing* sound)

You never mentioned if you checked all the fuses?
Not sure if your year has it, check the ground wire that mounts to the body underneath the dash drivers side also.

Sorry about the confusion, I have checked all the fuses with no problems there.
Thanks for the thorough writeup in the other thread Echo. I'lll check out the MALL and BCM and let you guys know how it goes. I don't know when I'll be able to get to it, hopefully soon.
