Default Moving the DRLs

Would it possible to move the DRLs from the lowbeams to the high beams? It'* an idea I've had for a while now. Living in a large metro area, I never use the high beams so why not put some wear and tear on those bulbs for a while?

I physically transferring the circuit is no big deal, but the part I don't kow about yet is:
Does the DRL circuit actually shut off wen the headlights are on, or is it just a different amount of juice going through? I don't want to end up with the high beams looking like they are on at all times

I believe they are turned off when the regular lights come on.

My thought is you would merely need to work over the wiring at the driverside fender from the resistor on.

what about changing the resistor setup. Instead of suppling the headlights run a wire over to both the High beams, and then that wire into the resistor instead of the low beams

That'* what I was thinking, and what I think Boosty meant. My main concern would be if the DRLs would shut off when the real lights come on.

Easy enough to test, I suppose. But since I can't right now, I figured I would ask here and hope someone had an FSM handy or knew for sure
