Default Drivers side heated seat

Actually got a little cool one morning last week and wanted to heat the seat for a minute. Pressed the button and the light came on for about 2 seconds and went right back off. This is what it keeps doing. Is there a fuse for this I should check? You can hear a clicking noise (sounds like it'* in the dash) when it comes on. Also, the light that illuminates the button is out, not sure if that has anything to do with it.

Thanks for any help

Here'* a thread about an 00 heated seat. It seems the elements are not as durable as older years for GM.

An interesting aside is that we pulled the seats from an 00-03 LeSabre at the yard and found one of the elements to have already been replaced.
