Door locks/fuse-relay help

Door locks/fuse-relay help
Helloooo, i just found out about this site from a guy in a parking lot so i thought i drop in . I came here in serch of help with my 94 bonni se. The door locks do not work at all (no clicks or nothing). The key FOB works as it opens the trunk, but that'* it. I started by checking the door locks fuse panel under the passenger side dash, and found that the 20A fuse was blown. I tried a new one, but it blew as soon as I put it in. So next I disconnected both door lock switches and tried it a new fuse, but it blew again. I check the wires under the hood in the MAXI fuse center and the 60A fuse and they are all good.
Next I tried to find the relay but I can't seem to find it, the mitchell diagrams say thats its under the drivers see attach to floor. i check but I'm pretty sure that its not there as there no extra wire other than the PWR seats. Under the passenger side dash the fuse panel has about 5-6 relays and I can't seem to find any info on them. Has anyone come across this problem and also does anyone know which relay is which??

Hi and Welcome to the club....
Power lock issue huh. Ok.. You mention not being able to use the key FOB (remote). Let'* hang on with that for a moment and concentrate on the locks and switches first. Then if there is an issue with the functioning of the remote we can get that once the main issue is resolved and we know the locks work.
You mention pulling the two switches and the fuse still pops quickly. This would point to a short, meaning somewhere that power wire is being grounded directly. Try unplugging both motors, both switches and the black box on the drivers door (autodown module) if the problem still persists, check all the wiring....look for pinched, rubbed or generally anything out of the oridinary. From there plug in one thing at a time.
Also..is there any history of water or wetness at either of the front floorboards? If yes..this is a lesser concern as it wouldn't be causing the short. But could prevent other items from working long term.
On the wiring .. someone with the books will be around soon to help determine where the wires run.

thanks for the relpy. I finally got some time to remove the driver seat and pull up the carpet and insulation, under which I found the door lock relay. i dissconnected it and inspected the terminals. Term B and E were burnt and the relay rattles so im pretty sure thats the cause, i'll pick one up and see if it solves it for sure. As for the Wire diagrams, no need for i was able to get some off work, i was able to get component locations and complete wire diagram. I'll scan and post them when I get a chance so others don't have to go searching for them.
