Is there a auto dim mirror with a compass that plugs into the stock wiring on a 92? If so, I'm contemplating modding my gauge panel with new gages on the right, and possibly new ones on the left if I can ditch the compass portion.

I was possibly doing the same - (thinking of liquid filled Autometers and a boost gauge) I know the suburbans had those, because my brother has one. These bonne'* sure do have bad electrical systems.

I have two compass mirrors here that look like the 92-94 (maybe more) mirrors. Will get pictures when I get home

Can you get a picture of the connector and placement of the wires in the cavities.

I know my 95/97 mirrors had identical connectors and I can easily plug right the compass mirrors I have directly into the connector.
