Sidepost problem
The side post connection on my battery is not striped but I bought a new connector when I changed the cables and now the connection comes loose on its own. Can I purchase a wider screw or do I need to switch to some toppost adapters since my battery has both?

Any idea why the connector comes loose? The bolts should be standard size and shouldn't come loose. It'* possible to overtighten them and strip out or break the lead post.
Shouldn't be any harm in swapping to top posts though.

Well, I bought the top post converters, but noticed that the thread on the bolt was almost non-exsistent so I replaced it first. Everything seems fine now, even after some nice driving I only see a draw on the volts when I roll the windows up or down. Hopefully that is a common problem, I don't know? I kept the converters just in case.

that'* normal heavy usage. The window motors take a lot to move up and down. Turn your key to on w/o starting and do it..or blinkers..or horn...
