Default SS 880'*

awhile back I mentioned my car would blow these damn things; I thought It was may car but I gave a good one (if U wanna call it that) to my brother for his car to see if it would work in his, I put it in for him (those damn SE'* have a tough *** spot for the fog bulb) It lit up w/o no problem, a couple of nights ago I seen an SE goin down the road with one foglight out, come to find out it'* his car. I'm wondering what'* the deal with these things why are they blowing? I run my foglights on all the time an it didn't take long for mines to blow (approx 5 days) maybe they were just bad bulbs? I've replaced them several times though, so what could it be?
Has anybody else had this problem?

Yes, I would think that the bulbs are exposed to the elements. I have had mine for about 3 years now, no problems.

Is the same side blowing every time? I'd agree the elements or the glass is dirty, careful no finger prints.

Side note my aurora would eat fog lights like nothing. After I put my stereo system in, fogs lasted 2 weeks to 3 months. Weird problem and never figured it out. Used numerous different type of bulbs and still they all blew eventually. Both sides too. :?

I thought so too, but these other ones work just fine, I guess the whole shipment was bad? If every one elses work then must have been a bad shipment of bulbs?

Mista, These space shuttles aren't easy to change fogs either. Can you check voltage delivered to the connector at the fog light. Someting seems abnormal causing these fog lights to burn out. I don't know about the shipment theory.
