Need wiring diagram of 1998 H-body ELC air compressor system
My brothers 1998 Oldsmobile LSS has suffered from a non-functional ELC system since he bought it almost 2 years ago.
Today we finally tackled it and found a known good unit in Minneapolis and installed it.
Upon installing it we found that it is non-functional on his car.
We bought it from a salvage yard that had it on the shelf, with a note attached verifying that it had tested in working condition when it was removed.
It is under a 1 year warranty, so we figure we'll hold onto it until we can be sure that it isn't something else that'* the problem.
So before we tackle it blindly in two weeks I thought I'd see if anyone has a wiring schematics. It should be identical to the Bonneville as it'* on the same platform.
Also, when I pulled the ELC Maxi-fuse with the ignition on and re-installed it, the maxi-fuse did not blow as it did when I did that in my old 1998 SSE. :?

Swap the horn relay (assuming the horn works) into the ELC relay position. That'* what we found wrong with driverjohn'* car after years of not running.
You have the unit you replaced, the ELC pump assembly itself, and the relay. That'* about it. Not including the solonoid valve assembly of course.
