for your problem as a temporary fix if you do alot of city driving unplug the low beam wires and plug your high beam wires into the low beam buld i had to do this on my camaro but if your like me and dont venture into the city leave it untill you can get er fixed.Never had this prob on my 97 so not sure how the switch is set up but im guessing the lever is broke at the end and not ''switiching' or the arm has come unhooked

yea the levers just broken. it jus sucks cuz i drive to work at 430 in the morning and my brights r shining in peoples rear view mirrors on the highway. jus hope i dont get pulled over for it ha

well if you highway drive id switch the high beam wires to the low beams for now till you can fix it
