The "Big 3" Power Cable

I know that there was a topic on this but cannot find. It was about using bigger power cable between the alternator and the battery resulting in better current flow. Anybody with info pipe in please!

what is your purpose of doing the big 3? system?

4ga would work fine more the majority of applications.

The more mcm (million circular mil) area means less resistance. In other words, increase the awg size for lesser resistance. With the short runs of all these cables, I can't see any significant advantage gained. Just my .02.

For guys with audio systems it does help with reducing dimming and can also reduce alternator noise in music.

I had just remebered seeing something about it. I wondered if I would get any gains from it. I dont have a large audio system or anything just was asking around. Thanks for the input.
