Battery keeps dieing.
 

I have an interstate battery that i got about 8 months ago. Just the past 5 days my car would not start. It would not even turn over. Jumped it and away I would go. The battery completely dies in about 8 hours or so.

Now this battery is not that old and Interstate sells decent batteries?

Am i looking at a battery problem here or what? I looked at the battery connections and they dont seem to be loose? what else could it bed?

Do you think the for the purpose of not having to get jumped, that i could take my back seat out, connect my battery charger and keep it on all night? So when i get up in the morning its charged?

That will start you in the morning, but wont help when you leave work. I had the same problem last year, several jumps later I had a day off work and found the problem. Have you made any changes to the car lately? A sticking relay is a good place to draw amps.

I havent made any changes. I just want to make sure its safe in the back seat of my car, overnight.

It will be safe if you leave it on a trickle. But if your on a 2amp trickle, and you have a 4amp draw. Well, you do the math.

What do you mean leave it on a trickle? im not sure how big the amp is. I just wanna make sure my car wont catch on fire or it wont kill my electrical system. I just hooked the 2 clamps on the battery and locked the car. The light it the car wont turn off while the thing is charging my battery. Should i worry about anything?

Trickle is a 2amp charge. You don't want to be doing high amp charges for a long time. It's hard on the battery.
