better headlights
im woundering if there is anything i can do to help out the beam pattern on a 94 pointiac bonneville. I drive my moms bonneville alot and im really dissapointed in its night performance, the low beams cut off too short and i mainly see just 4 diagnal beams with very little illumination in between, and the high beams seam to have a hole in the middle where it illuminates high, low hardly nothing in the middle where i need it on the long winding hilly backroads. the only thing that seams to help the low beams are the fog lights but those have burned out and dont work nomore.
so any suggestion to help out, i wish this car took 9004s since i got some silverstars from my old car that need a new home.

make sure that the headlights are aimed correctly.....if the headlight is out of aim that can cause poor performance (duh)
Silverstars are a great upgrade for the headlights, lots of people run the Silverstars in the Low beams, and then Cool Blue in the High beams
you can also have your fog lights stay on with when the High beams are on, the Mod is posted on the Fourms here, do a search and you will get the results with Pics on how to complete the mod
also replace your fog lights and upgrade to driving lights.......Hella Angel Eyes or the Cyberwhite navigators.....Upgrading to driving lights is a awesome mod and increases visibility 1000%

the best mod you could do is replace your stock fog lights with driving lights. either hella or cyberwhites.
With all of the lights aimed properly you should be able to see the road.

I agree with all of the above. If the headlights are not aimed PROPERLY, then all the fancy new bulbs out there will not do a thing for you. You'll find your stock bulbs will work amazingly well when they are pointed in the right direction.

If the headlights are not aimed Properly you will never get good night vision.
try putting the 9005 bulb in the low beam side, i did this over a year ago and
my car lights up the road alot better then it did with the stock 9006 low beam bulb.
here is a site that tells you how to mod the 9005 light to fit in the low beam side.

hope this helps you see at night, i know i do now.
