Default Lights Out on HVAC Controls

I have a 94SE with the 3 **** manual temp control (***** for fan, temperature and mode). The lights on this panel are all out. All other instrument panel lights and radio control lights are on. Would this likely be a fuse problem or a wiring problem?

Any ideas would be most appreciated.

I'll assume, for the moment, that all the lights went out at the same time. If all the fuses check out, I would look for a loose connetion behind that panel.

Well, in my 89 I had two of three bulbs burn out at exactly the same time. However, I would be that the wire in the back is loose or oxidized.

I would check the connectors, myself. If I remember right, when I screwed up initially installing my stereo and blew the fuse for the dash lights, they ALL went out (making for a fun drive to work).

You should be able to pull the dash cover off and just pull out the HVAC module and check it'* connections....

I think I'd head straight for the bulb(*) that illuminate the panel, and see what'* up. It is not fused separately from the other dash backlighting, so if the other stuff still lights up, it'* not a fuse problem.
