Default I lost my RPM meter today...

i was driving out of my driveway,and all of a sudden,the RPMs read natta,so i get to work,after work it was fine....anyone know what could cause is,or how the Rpm meter works in general in the VinC 3800'*?

Techinfo. Remove the cluster, clean the contacts, and put it back (if it does it again).

haha, yeah man. Mine was jumpy in the old cluster, just bad cluster/gauges. I'd check the connections on the back where the speedo/tach connect to the rear board of the I/P, test resistance from any touching contacts, if it is more than .010, then there is a problem, if its open, check to make sure you are checking resistance for two connectors which ARE related, and not just random ones. I can post pics of where you could check if you need them.
