HUD PROBLEM
my hud wont adjust it self to where i can see it i have to open my sun roof just to stick my head high enough to see it. The switch is broken on it to adjust it is there another way i can do this ????

i dont know what to tell you about fixing it...
but that is really funny to imagine you doing that just to see it
have you took off the dash panel and took out the swtich yet. because its not electrical like 96+, you should be able to just move the lever with a pliers or something

Posts like a Ricer Type-R
It'* not a switch. It'* a mechanical cable on the 92/93. Not sure what year it changed to electrical. You need to check the cable behind the hud switch lever, and the hud. Both ends.

If I remember right, it'* called a Bowden cable, where the outer casing is clamped at both ends so that the center wire core can be pushed or pulled in either direction, to activate a lever at the far end by moving the lever at the near end. The manual-slide heater controls have a similar design, as do handbrakes on bicycles.
If the wire core binds inside the casing, everything will just lock up. If the outer casing slips out of its clamp, the control will lose its leverage and everything will just go loose. Once you can get eyeballs on it, I think you'll see where your problem is.
