HVAC Exterior Temp
Mine has been saying 100-104* all day :?.
I took a look at the sensor, and it looked fine (thought maybe there was water on it).
Unplugged, replugged, now it says 50* and won't move. True temp is around 75*. Is there a way to recalibrate or should I just get a replacement sensor? Not keen on the new sensor idea, car is becoming a nickel and dimer.
EDIT: Something interesting... when it'* unplugged, the display says a flashing 75*, which is about the real temp. Is it reading the temp inside the car? There isn't a way to toggle the display to display the temp inside the car is there?

Up through 93, the ECC could be commanded (in diagnostic mode) to display inside temp.
There is no way to 'calibrate' the ext sensor. Inspect your wiring. If it looks good, replace the sensor.

Yeah I'm just going to replace it. I got a wrong price from advanced auto... they said somewhere around $30. I think they were thinking something for AC system. It'* called an ambient air temp sensor, correct? I'm reading 130* now . And... if want heat, I gotta crank it up to 90 degrees... that sucks on 45 degree mornings lol. I roll outta the nice warm bed, get dressed, hop in the car, it gets warm in typically under 5 minutes @ 55 mph, and still the heat doesn't kick out that well.
