Default orderd angel eyes, now installation *UPDATED W/PICS*

Just orderd these guys:
http://www.pfyc.com/store/merchant.m...ode=GPLIGHTING

Should I try and attempt to install them myself or have them insalled by a proffesional. I am leaning towards just taking them to a proffesionl. I don't mind giving them $50 and having them installed properly than me having to fuss with them for a couple of days.

What do you guys think?

do it your self

connect the new lights to the existing fog light wires

connect the angle ring to a switch

get power to the switch

its SUPER easy...

take off the stock brackets, then take the light off the bracket, and take the new lights off the new setup...

compare them...same setup, same design...1/4" off

get a plyers, bend the stock brackets tabs bigger so the hellas can fit in there...

you have to take em off to know what im talking about

Congrats on the early xmas present
They are easy to install yourself and the brackets are easy to modify.
You could wire the ring to your park lights as well so no switch needed and no running a wire through the fire wall?

I agree, John. Do it yourself. You will be far more satisfied and if you ever do have problems in the distant future, you will be able to trouble shoot and fix it yourself.
Learning is doing.
Go for it. Trust your instincts.

yes you can tap the rings into the parking lights and use that as your power source

So, are we saying I could wire it to have the abgel eyes on when i have the parking lights on. But then they;d turn back off when the headlights are on unless I have turned them on via the fog light switch?

No John, the ring would be on whenever the parking lights are on (the parking lights are on when the headlights turn on too).
When you turn the fog light switch on then the center light will also light up.
The disadvantage to this is that you could not turn the outer light ring on separately.....but then why would you want to??
