Default ZAINO Group buy ???? *UpDaTe* Sticky?

This if the first time i have ever herd of this product. I'm wondering if anyone here has used it. I am considering ordering this product first thing Tuesday morning. I Just spoke to Mike at ZAINO.ca and might even suggest a group buy the Ultimate kit is a little pricey Hitting the CC for 175.00 CAD but if the results are there and this product brings and does what it promises IMO its well worth it.....

The Ultimate Kit includes

ZFX™ Flash Cure Accelerator Additive
Z-2 Pro™ Show Car Polish for Clear Coated Car Finishes
Z-5 Pro™ Show Car Polish for Swirl Marks and Fine Scratches
Z-6™ Ultra Clean Gloss Enhancer Spray
Z-7™ Show Car Wash
Z-9™ Leather Soft Spray Cleaner
Z-10™ Leather in a Bottle
Z-16™ Perfect Tire Gloss
Z-18™ ClayBar
And THREE Zaino Canada Custom Polish Applicators for FREE !

Someone on another board i belong to has used this and swears by it im working on a Before pic then i'll PS then together so it can be better shown..

i want to Hear from anyone who has used it or if anyone is interested in a Group buy it doesnt have to be the Ultimate (I'm ordering that for myself) there are other items

www.zaino.ca
Before

heres an after shot

I know that the tails had very bad swirls this is after waiting for a PM for Before shots
Try to find a swirl mark now. Laughing I suggest Zaino to anyone...Megs and other products don't even compare at all.

Seriously...I couldn't enjoy this car because of all the swirl marks before...And it doesn't even have 10k miles yet. I HATE SWIRL MARKS!!!

EDIT: My neighboors think I'm crazy beacuse I washed this car and put a coat of Zaino before work everyday this week.
EDIT** I will also be contacting a US distributer i see they have it listed for 116.00 USD thats works out to 134.00 CAD maybe he hasnt changed his prices to reflect the exchange?? I can receive in either country and ship to where ever...

I've hear many many things about this product, some swear by it, some say it'* great but over priced. I think it'* a matter of preference, there are othe products on the market that have as much shine for a lot less money but don't last as long, and others have said that just doing your car with a clay bar is good enough. One thing for sure it that it'* a multi step process that takes a lot of time and $175.00 sure is a lot of money for wax. As for Group purchase, the Corvette forum has done that with a person in Burlington and managed to get the $175. down to about 145. picked up. If you want to know the exact amount I could try to do a search is you wanted.

Hope this little bit of info helps.

The group puchase took place late last summer and it had to involve at least 12 purchases I believe. The point is that getting a lower price for volume purchase can be obtained with Zaino.

Personally I think it'* overpriced, mainly because it costs about the same as other products but you don't get very much product. That and I don't like the idea of having to use the ZFX to use the sealants. When you mix it I think you have to use it right away or trash what you don't use, so I would think you end up wasting a lot of it. There are a lot of other options out there that are just as good and won't hurt the pocket book so much. But from what I've read it is very good stuff, and of course has it'* fanatics.

here is the email i sent to Mike AT Zaino

Mike,

I'm not sure if you have both the Canadian and American distribution centers or just the Canadian center. I am writing to inquire about maybe putting together a group buy with two large internet forums with membership in both Canada and the United States, and even a few members in Europe. The sites I'm talking about are www.bonnevilleclub.com and www.naioa.com.

I'm wondering what types of packages you can put together for me and the respective sites. Could I get price breaks for 1-10 members and 1-20 then maybe 1-30 .

If you are interested in doing this and getting your product out to some great people who love there cars, please feel free to contact me..

There are two ways you can reach me
By phone
613-933-XXXX (H) 613-551-XXXX (O)
or by email selwood_r@XXX.com

I am not a Administrator or a Moderator of either site. Just a member in good standing

Thank You

Robert Selwood

Grimm:
At first I had a lot of similar thoughts. The low down is it only takes a 1/2 oz to do the Bonneville. You mix 4 drops of the FX to the 1/2 oz and are good to go. I have not counted how may drops are in the small vile of FX but it is enough to do 2 bottles of Z2 and 2 bottles of Z5. BTW the 1/2 oz will do the door jambs as well. A little goes a long way.

You are correct in that there are other options out there. I want to try some P21S or some Collinite. Both are very good wax products with a huge following.

The hard part is finding another less expensive applicator pad. So far Zaino has the least expensive all cotton pad on the market. I have found another source for the mixing bottles so I never bother to clean them. Just use them once and throw them away. The cotton pads on the other hand end up doing tire gloss duty until they are worn out.

Too many products and I have too few cars.

I use zaino on all my cars, Ill swear by the stuff, theres over 150 coats on the bonneville (about 8 bottles or so) and 20coats (1 bottle so far only had the car for a few months) on the original paint of the Grand National, I usually buy it from the vendor in London Ontario, I highly recomend this product, its a little pricey but in the end you cant compare it'
